Summer in the City of Brea is filled with free events for all ages to enjoy. From movies and music, to festivals and fairs, there are many reasons to be outdoors this summer in Brea.
The summer events begin with Family Films on the Plaza Level of the Brea Civic & Cultural Center. On select Friday nights, from June 16 – July 28, the community is invited to bring chairs and blankets for the 8:00 p.m. showings. The movie schedule for this summer is below.

Celebrate our nation’s independence at the 43rd annual Country Fair, taking place on Tuesday, July 4 at City Hall Park. From 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. there will be activities for all ages to enjoy. A pancake breakfast, Car Show, a kiddie parade, swimming at The Plunge and more.
Live outdoor music begins in July with Concerts in the Park, held on Wednesday evenings, July 5 – August 9 at 6:30 p.m., in City Hall Park. The concert schedule is listed below.

The ever-popular Brea Fest rounds out the summer on Friday, August 11 at the Brea Civic & Cultural Center from 6:30 – 10:00 p.m. This community festival features, art, live music, food, drinks, and entertainment. Admission is free and taste tickets are sold.
In addition to summer events, there are also theatre performances, art exhibitions, swim lessons, recreational swimming, youth recreational activities, camps, and more offered through the City of Brea.
