The Brea City Council celebrates the 100th year of Brea’s incorporation with a special City Council Meeting and free birthday celebration at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the Brea Civic & Cultural Center.
The Brea City Council will commemorate the anniversary of Brea’s 100th year of city-hood at the special City Council meeting in the City Council Chambers on the Plaza Level I of the Brea Civic and Cultural Center. The ceremonial meeting will be followed immediately by an outdoor birthday celebration on the Plaza. Attendees will enjoy refreshments, birthday cake and have a chance to inspect contents from the Brea’s 75th Jubilee time capsule. Kid-friendly activities add to the festive atmosphere. Souvenir merchandise; shirts, caps, magnets and patches, will also be on sale.
