Register to Receive Notifications of Contracting Opportunities
Do you want to increase your chances of receiving notifications of new procurements and contract opportunities? The Purchasing Division is utilizing the Public Group’s Public Vendor and Public Purchase for its electronic procurement needs (Brea’s eProcurement Portal).
Contractors, suppliers, and vendors will be able to register online; receive automatic email notifications of new procurements and contract opportunities; download documents, drawings, forms, etc.; submit questions online; receive answers to questions via addendums, results of procurements, and award notifications – all electronically. Additionally, vendors can have access to other entities that utilize the same procurement system and broaden their opportunities even further.

How to Register
Here’s a Quick Start Guide on How to Register and Start Receiving Automatic Email Notifications of New Procurements and Contract Opportunities
Step 1: Register your business with the City of Brea.
- Go to Public Purchase
- Click “Go to Register”
- Select “Free Registration” on the right hand side of the page
Step 2: Create an account for your organization with Public Purchase by following the Vendor Registration prompts. When your account is created, you will receive a confirmation email, usually within 24 hours or less. If you already have an account with Public Purchase, proceed to Step 3.
Step 3: Register your Public Purchase account with the City of Brea.
When your registration with Public Purchase is activated, you will receive a confirmation email from Public Purchase. Using the link provided in the email:
- Log in using your username and password
- Click on the “Tools” tab on the top right hand side of the screen.
- Click on “Agencies”
- Type in “City of Brea”
- Click on “Search”
- Click “Register” on the right hand side of the City of Brea
The City of Brea requires you to complete one task in this part of the registration process:
- Review your NAICS classcodes and add any you may have missed.
- Click continue and then register.
