AutoPay is now available for City of Brea utility payments. Each month your water bill can be automatically deducted from your checking account.
That’s one bill that won’t ever be late no matter how busy you may be when it is due. Read frequently asked questions and view more information about our convenient AutoPay option.
Application for AutoPay
This easy, reliable method to pay bills is very simple to activate. Just call the City of Brea Water Division at 714-990-7687, email us to request an application, or download and print the application and mail it in with your next regular payment and you’re done. Automatic transfers will take place the following month. You also may opt in for paperless billing*.

Paying your water utility bill got easier with AutoPay, now it’s more flexible with E-Pay. The City of Brea, partnering with Paymentus Corporation, is now offering E-Pay, a quick and easy payment option for water utility customers. E-Pay allows you to make your water utility payment by phone or online, anytime, any day, 24/7. The payment options are flexible, just use an electronic check, debit card, or credit card.
AutoPay is still available and nothing will change if you are currently signed up.
To Use E-Pay
- Pay online with Paymentus Corporation’s secure website
- To pay by phone, please call Paymentus at 877-543-8356
- Get information or direct questions to firstname.lastname@example.org or call Paymentus Customer Service at (800)420-1663
- Payments made before 5:00 p.m. PST (Pacific Standard Time) will post to your account the same business day. Payments made after 5:00 p.m. (PST) will post the next business day and may incur a late fee if paid after 5:00 p.m. (PST) on the due date. Paymentus will send a confirmation number for each payment you submit and a confirmation email for your records.

If you have received a shut-off notice or your water service has been locked off, please contact the Utility Billing Service office at 714-990-7687. Online payments should not be made at this point. Doing so will NOT prevent you from being locked off.

For your convenience, a payment box is located at the Brea Civic & Cultural Center (corner of Birch St. and Randolph Ave) in the circular driveway along Birch Street.
There’s a new way to view and receive your City of Brea water utility bill. Sign up today for E-billing and receive notifications by email that your bill is ready to view. After enrolling, you can view water utility bills online, anytime.
Sign up for paperless billing by opting to "suppress statements" so that in addition to viewing utility bills online, you also save time and paper. With paperless billing you will no longer wait to receive a utility bill statement by mail. Instead, each month you will receive an email alerting you that your bill is ready to view online.
